I went to the grocery store today to get all the "healthy" food I think I can stand and no junk food. Tomorrow starts the 5 weeks that I am going to eat as healthy as I can just to see if it really makes a difference.
I have fruits, vegetables, tuna, ground turkey, milk (2%),chicken, fish, and water. No candy, chips, soda, etc. for the next 35 days. With any luck I won't kill anyone from sugar withdrawal.

Fat Ass is going to try not to be so fat.
OK. So here is the plan. Starting this weekend, when I get back home from vacation, I am going to give myself to the end of August to try a new eating habit. I am only going to be eating fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, and milk. I am going to be staying away from processed foods, sugars and such as best I can. I want to see if it actually makes a difference.
I know that I have tried this before, but I hope that this time I can stick to it. Also, a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise a day as well is going to be on the agenda. I am not really sure what it is going to be yet, but from what I have read it appears changing it up on a constant basis is a good thing. Your body doesn't have the time to 'get used to' a particular exercise routine. This way it has to modify to the ever changing exertions that are put upon it.
I think the hardest part of this is going to be finding things that are healthy for me that I like to eat because so far there are so few things that I have been able to find. Granted, I really haven't been that adventurous of an eater. Once I find something that I like I usually stick with it. There is going to be a lot of experimenting when it comes to my food selections. I might even luck out and find something that I am allergic to. Who knows.
Enough of this for now. I will write more when I have the opportunity.

Hi and welcome to my attempt at becoming a blogger. As you peruse these words, sentences, and (with any luck) what I assume will be complete and concise paragraphs, I hope to become a more efficient and effective communicator. I also will need to work on my punctuation, spelling, and grammar. So feel free to point out my errors in said areas.
I guess I should look up the term 'blogger' first so I have an idea of what I am supposed to be doing here. I will be right back.
From what I understand it is Doogie Howser but instead of being a personal journal that is only for you to read it's out there for the whole world to read. This should be fun and rather interesting to see if I actually have the ability to bare my soul to the whole world.
I would say wish me luck but I think this will only end up being a personal journal with no followers. That is OK too. I think it will do me some good, spiritually and emotionally, to write about some of the stuff that goes on in my life.
